The Innocence of Love

Let's meet the innocent lover...

"You have caught me like a thousand times staring at you. Believe me, I'm helpless. I love looking at you, observing every single thing you do, the way you smile and that twinkle in your eyes when you finally do it. The way you talk, the way you roll your eyes, the way your locks fall freely on your face and the way you put them behind your ear, just everything about you. I wish I could do this forever."

"You have spoken a million words to me and a hundred more telling me that how at times I'm lost and not listening to you. Believe me, it's not my fault. I just wonder how lucky those words are to connect to your heart, how they can make you feel happy and sometimes so relieved that you go on saying five more, 'I feel so good now'. I wish I could hear you forever."

"You have walked with me. And more than that told me to walk along your side and not behind you. Believe me, it's because I'm lost. I'm lost in your aura when I see you walking and at times leading me. I love obeying your commands, I love to see you as 'The One' in my life and moreover I love that feeling of care when you turn around and call out my name. I wish to be mesmerised by you forever."

"You have always kept your life as an open book in front of me and I have always loved you. Believe me, I do. I don't want anything to change. I don't mind you not loving me, as it's you and your happiness which matters the most to me. I wish to be in love with you forever."

Stay back

Their last December together. She wanted to make it the best moments of her life. The joy and frolic in the atmosphere, the love and happiness, she wished these moments were eternal.

On the 31st night, they partied hard, kissed harder, dancing away to bring in the New Year. Its the last time she'll be spending time with him, in fact, the last time she'll be with him.

From the time they reached home, till the time he had to move, she cried, sometimes shedding tears, most of the times withholding them.

He was leaving. Forever. He wanted to settle down in Texas. He wanted to see himself rising a family there. She wanted to live with her parents. Soon, she was going to get married. They had broke up mutually, yet there was something killing them deep down in their hearts. It was love.

At the airport, she kissed him for a final good-bye crying all the way back home. Love succumbed to their individual life-goals.
